The Museum of Agricultural Machines The Museum of Agricultural Machines "Preserving for posterity" ("Ocalić
od zapomnienia") was founded in 2000 by Farm Tourism Society of Pieniężno
Land and partially funded by the Polish-German Cooperation Foundation.
The area of 0.5 ha holds machines and agricultural equipment dating
back to the pre-war period. A lot of exhibits come from an iron foundry,
which operated in Pieniężno before the Second World War (owned by
Schirrmacherr).
A cottage standing in the area contains a
lot of exhibits such as household utensils (mangles, looms, flails,
a sewing machine, butter dish etc.) as well as old photographs, maps
and publications.
The museum is very popular with the commune inhabitants and tourists.
